Debate Club's aim is to empower Academy students with the skills of expressing their beliefs clearly and concisely, public speaking and effective communication in a formal setting, and staying aware of current events in the world. Students also partake in conferences hosted by the Junior States of America (JSA) and learn to interact with students from all over the tri-state area in an out-of-school setting. Despite the seemingly serious nature of debates, we never forget to have fun along the way.
