Women in Computing

Varija Mehta attended the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing in Florida. The celebration is a series of conferences designed to bring the research and career interests of women in computing to the forefront. It is the world's largest gathering of women in computing. The celebration, named after computer scientist Grace Hopper, is organized by the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology and the Association for Computing Machinery.

At the conference, Varija had the opportunity to hear from numerous different keynote speakers including Ruthe Farmer (Founder & CEO of Last Mile Education Fund) and Reshma Saujani (CEO of Girls Who Code). She also got to connect with technology enthusiasts from all across the country.
