Mr. Joseph Adochio

My name is Joseph (J.) Adochio. I graduated from NJCU with a B.A. in Special Education and an M.S. in Educational Leadership. I am currently serving my twenty-fifth year as an educator. I started my career as a Special Education Teacher and worked as a football and wrestling coach for fourteen years before moving into administration. I spent my summers working part-time in construction while teaching. During this time, I gained experience in operating heavy equipment and managing job sites, focusing on sitework and drainage systems. It was during this period that I developed a strong passion for both construction and teaching. Growing up in East Brunswick, I was familiar with the vocational school in town, which is now East Brunswick Magnet School, and I appreciated the concept of students learning trades and academics in the same building. Working with young people is a true passion of mine that I have enjoyed and will continue to pursue.
