A Little Bit About Me: Hello, my name is Sydney Dowling, and I am a rising senior here at Woodbridge Academy. I’m from Colonia, where I’ve always been involved in various clubs and sports in my school. From an early age, pursuing a career in the science/ medical field has always been a dream of mine, and a goal I wanted to reach. When I heard about Woodbridge Academy, I believed it would give me access to so many more resources, medical-based classes, and knowledge to work towards this career. Coming from a school with a graduating class of approximately 300 students, my biggest concern was having a smaller class size. However, I was able to make a great group of friends that I can relate to, study with, and hangout with! One important lesson I’ve learned here is how to manage my time, allowing me to maintain a balance between my studies and extracurriculars such as dance. In my free time, I love to go shopping at the mall, get boba, and go to different restaurants. As a senior mentor, I want to help you feel accepted as a student in this school, and be there if you ever need someone to talk or relate to. I have learned so much over the past three years, and I want to guide you in the right direction in order to help you enjoy your freshman year. Congratulations, and feel free to reach out if you need advice or have any questions!
