Graphic Design: Commercial Art and Illustration

If you're interested in a career in the world of visual communications, the Commercial Art training program is for you. Students learn illustration, layout and design, painting, drawing, airbrush, and computer graphic skills. They produce the drawings or illustrations for advertisements, books, magazines, posters, record album and video covers, 3-D designs, fabrics, interior design and brochures. Each student prepares a portfolio of work for application purposes for entry into employment or higher education. Graduates of the program might work as graphic artists, display workers, illustrators or paste-up artists for publishers, advertising agencies and communication industries.
