Student of the Year
Congratulations to Jasmine Mudhar for being named Student of the Year!
Jasmine is a senior at Edison Academy Magnet School. Jasmine is a dedicated, service-oriented student. With over 450 hours of volunteer work, she is connected with various organizations and clubs. She is Interact president and the chief editor for the school newspaper, The Eagle Eye. She serves as a safety ambassador and peer mentor. Outside of school, Jasmine is involved with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, volunteering for over 130 hours and raising over $19,000. Jasmine has volunteered with Centrastate hospital and Raritan Bay medical center and is a certified EMT. Jasmine has been awarded the Gold Presidential Volunteer Service award, Outstanding service award by the NJ Governor's office of Volunteerism, and Unsung Heroes award from the NJ School Board Administration. Jasmine hopes to serve the community as she works towards her goal of becoming a physician and completing research.
Jasmine was celebrated this year at the Rotary dinner where she accepted her honor.
