Sarayu Bubbharaju

Sarayu Buddharaju is a senior at Edison Academy Magnet School. She is a highly dedicated, service-oriented student with over 700 hours of volunteer work. Sarayu currently serves as President of both Interact Club and the Safety Ambassadors in her school, leading initiatives to support her school and community. Passionate about giving back, she has been involved with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, contributing over 150 hours and successfully raising $50,000 for the fight against blood cancer. She also volunteers regularly at her local nursing home and runs her own Letters for Rose chapter, collecting and delivering letters to elderly residents to brighten their days. In addition to volunteering, Sarayu has worked a job as a tutor since eighth grade, tutoring students both in-person and online. In her free time, Sarayu enjoys spending time with her dog and continuing to grow as an advocate for her community.
