Middlesex County Magnet Schools schedule open houses

The Middlesex County Magnet Schools have scheduled open houses on all five campuses for prospective students and their parents to become familiar with the career offerings and academic programs available.

On the East Brunswick Campus, 112 Rues Lane, the dates, all Saturdays from 10 am to noon, are October 22, December 10, and January 21.

For the Piscataway Campus, 21 Suttons Lane, also Saturdays from 10 to noon, it will be October 1, November 19, and December 17.

On the Perth Amboy Campus, 457 High Street, the dates will be Saturdays from 10 to noon, October 15, December 3, and January 28.

At the Edison Academy Magnet School, for science, mathematics and engineering technologies, 100 Technology Drive on the campus of Middlesex College, the open house will be Saturday, October 22, from 9 am to 1 pm.

And for the Woodbridge Academy Magnet School, for health and the biomedical sciences, 1 Convery Boulevard, the open house will be Saturday, October 29, from 9 am to noon.

“Our open houses are a wonderful opportunity for Middlesex County families to discover the exciting opportunities available in our Magnet Schools,” said Superintendent of Schools Jorge E. Diaz.

The Middlesex County Magnet Schools, formerly the Middlesex County Vocational and Technical Schools, the first full-time county vocational school district in the nation, offers 34 career majors.
