Department of Personnel
-
The Department of Personnel oversees the employment process for all employees at the five campuses of the district. The process includes screening applications, scheduling and conducting interviews, completing paperwork for the requisite criminal history review, as well as any other paperwork required for a new hire.
All applications for certification, which include teaching faculty and substitute teachers, are processed through and recorded in this office. In addition, all district staff evaluations, professional development hours and requests for tuition reimbursements are managed by the staff. The department also houses the Affirmative Action Officer who, along with a team, develops and implements the district’s Comprehensive Equity Plan (CEP).
The Policy Edition, and the Annual Report, and other state-mandated documents are compiled and distributed through the Department of Personnel.
