Sarvagna Malladi

Sarvagna is a senior at the Edison Academy Magnet School on the Civil and Mechanical Engineering track. From performing Indian Carnatic music at concerts to volunteering at local park cleanups, she has always appreciated the power of mobilizing communities to make a difference. In school, Sarvagna is President of the Technology Students Association and Environmental Club. She also serves as a peer mentor. As part of the Tri-State Coalition Board for Girl Up, she has worked with local nonprofits to organize events and has spoken at the Global Leadership Summit. Sarvagna is passionate about sustainable technology, having been involved with research and policy projects as an intern at the New Jersey Institute of Technology for the past three years. Sarvagna hopes to combine her interest in advocacy, policy, and engineering to continue sparking change in college and beyond.
