Students from Middlesex County Magnet Schools are an important part of the Middlesex County community. Our Cooperative Career and Technical Education Program provides students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at local business and industry sites throughout the greater Middlesex County area.
Participating students receive a half-day of academic instruction at the career and technical school and a half day of work experience at a supervised job site. Cooperative Education Coordinators inspect the work site, supervise the placement, provide related classes and make worksite visitations.
In collaboration with the Governor, the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) has eliminated all certification fees
from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. The goal of the fee holiday is to bolster the teaching profession and recognize the
invaluable contributions of educators. Effective immediately, the fee holiday initiative aims to alleviate a financial burden for
both current and aspiring educators for the State of New Jersey. Apply for an educator certificate online!
